Checklist

AI memory review checklist.

Useful AI memory should be visible enough to question, adjust, and refuse.

AI memory can make tools feel more helpful because they do not need to start from zero each time. The risk is not memory itself. The risk is memory becoming a hidden layer of assumptions.

1. What did I explicitly tell it? Start with the facts, preferences, instructions, and constraints you deliberately shared.

2. What might it infer? AI systems can turn repeated behaviour into a pattern: working style, risk tolerance, private priorities, or who and what you often mention.

3. What should not carry forward? Temporary projects, sensitive relationships, health, money, identity, family, and internal work details may be useful once without deserving a permanent place.

4. What changed? A good memory review should make it easy to correct old context. People change roles, plans, needs, and boundaries.

Ownesis is interested in this quiet point of control: the place where memory becomes visible before it becomes a default.

See the memory. Question the inference. Keep control close.
